Young Adult Clinic
Those attending the over 16 year old clinic at Ninewells may eventually transfer to the young adult clinic held on the 4th Wednesday of every month at Ninewells Diabetes centre. At their first visit to this clinic they will be accompanied by members of the paediatric diabetes team who will hand over care to the young adult team. Due to smaller numbers Angus, Fife and Perthshire all have their own – but similar - transfer arrangements in place.
